This quilled wapegnaka was done for Craig Jones, Head Northern dancer at National Pow-Wow, 2005.
I did the quillwork but Craig put it all together in this stunning piece.
At left, Craig is wearing it at NPW dance session.

I did some repair work on these quilled armbands, mostly filling in a few areas where quills had unraveled and securing a few lose areas.

This tipi bag, c. 1950, was brought to me for repairs. The seam is torn and losing beadwork on the one side. It's still a nice piece, sinew sewn seams and sinew beaded on elk braintan. I've replaced the seams, using a welt all around, sinew sewn and fixed the loose beadwork. With any luck, the owner will get another 20 years of use from it.
